Tips for putting together the perfect Halloween costume

Preparation for all the festivities associated with Halloween can be great fun. One of the best parts is to evoke the perfect costume. Often, all the preparation that goes into creating the perfect costume can wind up being more fun than actually wearing the costume!

Some of the parts of the costume, you might already have! You can dig through the old stuff to find the perfect black skirt, black shoes or old ones that look perfect for the costume of a witch. And then you could go to a costume shop to buy a witch's hat and then a women's clothing shop to find the best, spooky black blouse to wear with everything! And maybe you've decided to dye my hair blacks, only temporarily for a night. You could go to beauty salon and a little 'spray-on hair dyes. And while there, you might pick up some scary black fingernails to press on hand.

Now, shopping in town and digging into the backs of your cupboards and pulling the whole is definitely fun. But on the afternoon of the event, actually putting everything on - which can be a real pleasure, too! After all this excitement - shopping, dying your hair, etc. - the party itself could only be a disappointment! You may have started to feel like a costume designer for Broadway - or at least, as you should be in one!

A lot of costumes that came to mind, you might not even have to actually buy something. If you look hard enough, and think creatively enough, you just might find every bit of it in your house already! This would make it much more satisfying - to come up with the perfect costume and not spend a penny! You would surely love your homemade costume then!

If you buy all the parts of the costume, or put together something fabulous just from what you have in your wardrobe, putting together your Halloween costume is one of the most fun parts of Halloween .......
