Internet to monitor the use of your child, What Do You Look For?

So you've decided to start monitoring the computer activity of your child. Now what? You know it's important to monitor, but your children are more technically competent than you. It now becomes a matter of control without them knowing what you are doing. If you know which is then monitored their actions and conversations become even more elusive. How do you know the truth about their activities? What are you looking? Here's what you do.

To do the monitoring properly, there are ten activities that need to be monitored, Email, Instant Messaging, keystrokes, websites visited, programs used, downloaded files and user logins.

What are the emails you guys send and receive? Are more appropriate to their age group? Is there anyone who does not approve of their mailing.

Instant messaging is another area that parents do not know enough. Rather than jumping in the specifications it comes to this. All conversations are recorded by the company that runs the service when it comes to AOL or MSN. What are your children or volunteering saying about you and your family?

Keystrokes typed on your computer for children is important because there are some programs that allow the user to answer questions. These questions could jeopardize your family's information or private.

Web sites that your child visits must be known to you. Are they visiting porn sites? They signed up for free e-mail without you knowing about it? Where are visiting and what they are doing?

What programs are using the computer? They have uploaded other programs on your computer. Installing a new application is easy and can be hidden from you.

Another interesting feature concerns Downloads. There are all types of files that can be downloaded but now usually refers to video clips and music. They are legally downloaded and are they appropriate for your child.

Logins. This is important because there are other ways to access computer systems without using a web browser. Microsoft Windows is a powerful operating system and, unfortunately, the controls may be compromised.

If you do not get the right software so your children can turn the product is installed. So if you're really going to start to monitor your child use the Internet, then you do it correctly and efficiently .......
