The Present And The Future of Management Information Security
Every time there is a growing appreciation of the Senior Organizations, for the security of company information so that decisions taken in their daily work, enable them to put your business in an area of not only minimal risk, but of strength on the management of information.
What is really surprising is that this perspective has stalled on employers, but it is increasingly permeated workers who engage the Organization, so contributing to a more agile and efficient development, and increase competitiveness in this industry management.
From this point of view, what is the future horizon desired?
It's getting in value and competitive advantage in time of crisis, where uncertainty and pessimism prevail sometimes, those companies that offer certainty and security in information management, are positioned better than those that do not "worry ".
The picture of a company that does not include the management of information security can have consequences such as lack of information when it is needed, functional deficiencies in information systems, lack of operational performance of employees. How many times have happened to see inconsistencies in the data of a company? If these data are the Department of Accounting, it is better not to think about the impact could have when making business decisions, and more so in these times.
However, the study of the efficiency of information processing, as a review of an ISMS, allows more accurate strategic decisions.
We recall from Aude, as always, the best defenses is prevention, so that companies can implement a variable number of these management systems to improve the organization and benefits, although the ultimate goal should be to reach a single system management that addresses all aspects necessary for the organization based on the PDCA cycle of continuous improvement common to all these standards.
