Biometric Systems, and attendance biometric time clock

When looking to implement a system for monitoring attendance, there are several options that could be called. Here are the possibilities that more is known at the time.

Key Systems are more economical units. Each employee is assigned a code, which must be entered on the clock for assistance. This code, or password is often the number that identifies each employee in the listing of a company.

The advantage of this system is that no card is needed, helping you save money. In addition, cards can be lost and a system based they need a special reader. One problem with this method is that any employee can record attendance of another, to avoid this, a video camera may be the solution. Some keyboards have a verification mechanism. That is, the employee enters their password and screen name appears.

The reading units, fingerprints, are those that have drawn more attention in recent years. With this system, the employer ensures that an employee can not clock in for another, so you can be certain that the person who provided their footsteps, is who she claims to be. The employee places his finger on a watch and record attendance and arrival. The only problem with this system is that it can be used in industrial environments where there are a lot of dust, grease or dirt on the hands of workers.

Another method, schedule control, is one that is based on cards. There are two types of cards: the magnetic and barcode. Magnetic cards are they prenumbered and is assigned an identification number to each employee. If an employee loses his card, just assigned another, another preset number. The bar code cards work similarly, except that each card can be added to these information for each employee in addition to their photo.

Aside from biometric systems, which analyze fingerprints, there are other devices that analyze other qualities. Thus, you can find clocks with biometric hand readers, face and eye patterns. These systems are very accurate, but their prices are not the lowest, so that traditional systems such as fingerprint reading, are still preferred.
