Muscle requires more calories. Therefore, weight training and stretching a few days a week increases the metabolic rate. The metabolic rate is the amount of calories your body needs to perform basic functions such as digestion and the basic movement.

The reason that the best diet to lose weight is exercise is the increase in metabolic rate. Burning calories is a great benefit for the year, when in motion. However, when it continues to burn calories 24 hours a day, you burn more calories and more energy than it uses what it means to face the fat stores and weight loss.

When the calorie deficit occurs in the body, fat is the best place for fuel to keep the body moving.

Another great benefit of exercise that directly affects weight loss is the ability to sleep better. Sleep is when your body rejuvenates and repairs.

During sleep, the cells are able to repair, restore and re-grow. Recent scientific research has linked exercise and better sleep for longer periods of time between sleeping and waking. When the body has more time to repair, energy levels are higher and positive views on weight loss remain high.
