How To Choose A Good Dog Handbook Train will make you stand out as an Expert
Fortunately, when looking for a manual to train dogs, good choices are counted in hundreds. Although all types of training are based on a few canine learning theories, the manuals we can get at the bookstore or online, are distinguished by the personal experience of each author in the world of training and its relationship with particular dogs.
In principle we must discard all those manuals to train dogs based on punishment. There are many training options without using any type of punishment can achieve excellent results while reinforcing the dog's relationship with the owner or the trainer through the games and loving treatment. Do not confuse firmness with violence or submissive obedience or fear.
Secondly we have to find a manual for us. That is, no we have no previous experience in dog training, we get a manual that addresses the issue from scratch, from the basics and written in simple language. There are many manuals aimed at trainers who are used to reinforce certain skills or add new concepts to dog training. If you accidentally acquires one of the latter, probably could not pass even the first page.
It is also important to know beforehand what your pet needs, and what are the things we want to achieve with the training. Some books are too long, as well as covering the basics, many types of specific training (hunting, sports, medical therapies, rescue, etc.). That no use for our purposes and only become more cumbersome and extensive reading.
Finally, it is good to know that there are manuals targeting different races, different training as physical and behavioral characteristics of each particular breed or type as being, hounds, terriers, sheep or dogs allowed, among others.
